How Do I Use A Flash Drive?

A flash drive is very simple to use. Just plug it into the USB port of your desktop, laptop, tablet, Roku, streaming device, or entertainment center and you’re all set to go. Here’s a quick video on how to use it.

Can I watch videos or listen to audios directly from the Flash Drive?

Yes, Simply plug the flash drive into your desktop, laptop, Roku, or entertainment center and click the files in your directory.

Can I watch videos, listen to audios, or read the transcripts on my cell phone?

Yes. First, copy the files from your flash drive to your computer. Then plug your phone into your computer with a USB cable and transfer the files from your computer to your device in your usual way. Make sure there’s enough storage space on your phone.

Can I watch videos, listen to audios, or read the transcripts on my tablet, ipad, or Kindle Fire?

Yes. For devices that already have USB ports --tablets, ipad, or Kindle Fire--you can plug the jump drive into your device. ipads may require what’s called a “Lightning adapter.” OR...you can transfer files from the flash drive to your computer, connect your tablet to your computer, and transfer videos, audios, and pdf’s to your device in your usual manner.

Can I watch the videos on my big screen TV?

Some TVs will support this, yes. Just plug the flash drive into your entertainment center’s USB port, Roku, or streaming device. You can take your flash drive to your friend’s or family’s house and watch with them on their TV or computer, too.
